Millersburg, Ohio - For years, the mark of distinction in north and central Ohio homes has been cabinetry from Mullet Cabinet in kitchens, bathrooms and other spaces. Last month, Mullet Cabinet made it easier for homeowners to dream about their next home or remodel with the grand opening of the Mullet Cabinet Design Center, which features multiple kitchens, a laundry room, bath vanities, an office and a wet bar with the latest in cabinetry design, function, style and color. Also in the Design Center is a complete door style, finish and hardware showcase.

Over two extended weekends in May, Mullet Cabinet hosted grand opening celebrations with live cooking demonstrations, food and wine tastings and tours of the manufacturing facility that highlighted how certain effects on cabinets are accomplished. The Design Center opened with a ribbon cutting that included Ohio State Senator Bob Gibbs, Ohio State Representative Dave Hall, Holmes County Commissioner Joe Miller, and many members of the Mullet family.

“The opening festivities for our new Design Center was an amazing success, greater than I could have imagined, and during times of general economic stress, I think it has been a bright spot for our region and the Holmes County business community,” said Vince Mullet, president of Mullet Cabinet. He estimated that more than 300 families and homeowners stopped by over the course of the opening weekends.

Mullet Cabinet has been combining the quality of old-world craftsmanship with a keen design sensibility since the company was started in 1975. The ability to produce custom cabinetry with traditional or specialty woods has helped Mullet Cabinet become one of the top cabinet manufacturers in the Midwest.

To go along with the Design Center, the company has launched new website that features dozens of examples of Mullet cabinetry in homes. Their site can be accessed at www.mulletcabinet.com.

The Design Center is open to the public on weekdays 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 - 3:00 p.m. Evening appointments may also be arranged by calling 888-333-3594. Mullet Cabinet is located at 7488 State Route 241, about 2 miles west of Mt. Hope.
